The ArtFire Mission - More than Just Commerce, Community.

ArtFire.com - Where the Member is the Mission

Our mission is to make the ArtFire community “Your Home for Handmade”. We have crafted a complete market place and community for handmade artists and those who love handmade items where artisans can list handmade crafts for sale, absolutely free of charge! There are No listing fees, no final valuation fees, no fees, no kidding!

You are the mission at ArtFire. Our purpose is to support your business and support you as an artist. We do this by listening to your requests, working with you to learn your needs, and implementing tools that increase your on-line exposure and success.

Our founding philosophy is one of service. We work for you and with you, even if you pay us nothing; you are always treated with equality and respect. To mobilize on this spirit of service, we employ an aggressive and unusual approach of putting our leadership on the front lines of service. Our senior staff here at ArtFire are required to maintain an active and engaging presence in the Chatter Box Forums and in the blogosphere, in addition to their regular duties.

I speak for the entire ArtFire team when I say that we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you and commit ourselves to working each day to make your business more successful, our community stronger, and our world better. We ask for your assistance in helping us mold the Artfire community in a constructive and cooperative manner. Please let us know what you think of features and functions. If you love something about ArtFire, we want to know. If you want a change, we will always listen and discuss with open minds. If we don’t agree with your idea, we will discuss it with you and other members, and together we will move forward to improve our community for everyone.

You can help us mold the direction of the ArtFire community, check out the ArtFire Chatterbox Forums, and interact directly with John Jacobs, Founder and President of ArtFire.com on Twitter!
